Rowayton

Small-run goods inspired by harbor, shoreline, and sport.

Working Water

The waters off Norwalk and Rowayton shaped a working oystering culture that defined the harbor for generations. Along Rowayton Avenue, much of the waterfront economy was built on oyster money, from the Lowndes family’s success in the trade to the first steam-powered oysterboat built here in 1880.

Tennis by the Water

Objects and garments shaped by Bayley Beach, summer tennis, and shoreline recreation.

Roton Point

Roton Point’s shoreline has lived more than one life—from steamboat-era amusement park to one of Rowayton’s enduring summer enclaves. What remains is the atmosphere: salt air, open water, and a long memory of leisure on the Sound.
